Me. Well I was. Now I am trying to not play so that I can enjoy it on a server with bros. I really want that. I heard it's even greater.

Actually one or two weeks ago I asked Nick if he could make a Random Society Minecraft server. Sadly he could not.

Also post the shit you have build, I will post mine later.

It was a lot of fun when I played it and yes sadly I couldn't set up the server.

We definitely should try to get a server working so we could all do it that would be a lot of fun.

How to go about it then?

Yeah well. How.

We could team up with friends that would join us. I would have about 2 that would pay. 1 at least, max 3, you know. that way we could rent a server for games and stuff like that and it would not kill our poor, poor financial security or whatever.

Or I could try to put it on our "band" server. www.losanasol.de btw.

But that most likely won't work at all. But I will ask.

Also my friend almost bought a server, and by that i mean physical server for his own home. But that would probably be horribly laggy for you guys, and for us maybe as well.

Btw Nick, do you even know how great Minecraft ist? Because the free internet version really does not give it credit. I will post examples later this day, when I have a better internet gateway than my antique smart phone. Speaking of which... I think I will make a topic.

I actually managed to get a server working on my computer! :O

Not sure how you guys would go about joining it though. We'd have to organize a session or something.

Nope, I've only ever played the free version online.

A session yeah well that would work on my pc as well I think.

Well actually no, probably not. But more importantly: It would lack the whole "oh I feel like building something now, or maybe I mine a bit", you go into the server, and you see what the others have build while you were not on the server. You know, 1 session or something would be a bit bad, due to different time zones and long time progress etc.

Btw one of the 3 guys interested that I mentioned is Der_Wahnsinn, so it would still be pretty Milanocrew.

Post pictures of your creations now.

This will be a giant bridge from my spawn continent to my colony far, far away (~4 minutes of boat travel (i think))

On those giant circles will be different theme areas. Like the downtown street of a city, or a village, or a mansion, or a dessert with ruins, or a forrest, etc etc.

about 5 circles like that.

Of course everything mined by hand and solid, that means not hollow.

I just want to travel nicely once I respawn, you know? It's worth it.

I don't have anything nearly that cool. I've been working on server worlds with various friends, but none of them are particularly far along yet. I'll post up some cool shit once I've finished building some cool shit lol.

Well guys. I actually have a Minecraft server now. 4 of my friends and me, we started one, and recently 1 more guy came to us. Practically, we are still 5 though, since one guy from university only wants to play with cheated infinite ressources using admin consoles, mods and whatnot.

Even though I and some other guy (my friens are all other guys!) are admins as well, we do EVERYTHING BY HAND.

I have about 570 serverscreenshots, should I upload? ;D
Maybe a few, I could do that.

Anyway, here is the map. Note how there are many parts of landscape that are missing, which is weird since we build things right next to them. That is because after the new update we wanted the new trees and ores. So we deleted the old parts. The new ones that get generated will look almost entirely the same, just with new trees and blue ore. (also that one "special" guy that wanted to cheat everything was so angry about me saying "uhhh, build your cheat buildings somewhere else please, our city is vanilla only, else it would suck for us" that we walked 150 MB in one direction. That is.... a lot. He walked a straight line for 2 hours or so, so we had to shrink the world (backups barely worked, generating maps didn't work))
