Yeah well the iPhone 4g is a tad too expensive for what it offers I must say. And also too expensive for me. But thanks anyway.

Not $1.49, $149. That's pretty standard in North America in terms of iPone prices WITH a contract, yes. I got my iPhone 3G (back when that was the big one) for $99 w/ a 3 year contract.

Yeah they don't even give out 3 year contracts here so $149 for an iPhone 4 was the best deal out there. So far I very much enjoy the 720p video camera it has.

I have an android phone and they are really incredible (the droid eris from verizon)
The coolest thing I can do with it is I have an unlimited data plan, so I hacked the phone to give me root admin access and now I put off my unlimited internet just like a wifi hotspot and get internet anywhere! comes in handy now that I live in my own apartment and cannot afford real internet. me and my girlfriend watch netflix movies on my xbox using my droids internet

Yeahhhhh well Android is pretty rad. I mean I bought the first ever android phone, I gotta know.

Just got the Samsung Galaxy S and HOLY SHIT SUPER AMOLED FUCKING ROCKS.

Never saw contrasts this good ever.

When the screen is displaying the color "black" you can't even see where it ends on full brightness at midnight with no light in the room on. The black is that good.

Also yes I noticed that you can distribute wlan from the phone. Without any hacking even. Could be useful if I want to use my laptop in the wilderness.

But meh when is this going to happen =)
